Operating over 20 manufacturing sites in over 15 countries. They also have four research and development centers. Been in business over 80 years, with over 2,000 employees. Products include black, white and color masterbatches and full range of additives.

Your unique role with the company: While reporting to the Strategic Business Manager you will be responsible for evaluating and launching a compound product offering to support other Market Development efforts, including processor and OEM activities with direct sales and specification responsibilities for these accounts within North America. You will establish a Market Development plan targeting the compounding and masterbatch markets and establish relationships with them to ensure company awareness. You will initiate and manage product development projects, pricing, and forecasts. While at the same time working closely with technical and manufacturing departments to identify requirements and recommend changes needed to better service the customer base.
Working from a home office preferably in the Midwest or Northeast.
What we are looking for in a Candidate:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, material science, or chemical engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ in Compounding Materials Development or in Masterbatch manufacturing environment with responsibilities for sales.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with polymers, color concentrates, or chemical additives is also desirable.
  • A working knowledge of other plastics processes in addition to injection molding including blow molding, compression molding, and thermoforming.
