A Cleveland, Ohio based global manufacturer of industrial machinery is looking for a national sales management type that can direct all sales and business development efforts for a $25 million a year business unit. Will directly manage six nationally based sales types and an Aftermarket Sales Manager (indirectly six additional staff members in the aftermarket group), as well as the development and execution of all strategic and tactical sales plans for the business unit.
Other responsibilities include: budgeting, forecasting, training, hiring/firing, setting performance goals/metrics/KPI's and closing. Travel, up to 70% of the time (5% to Canada & Mexico) domestically.
BA/BS (MBA highly desired) coupled with a minimum of 3-10 years Sales Management (direct to end user & distribution) experience in an industrial machinery / engineered system product environment. Must have ability to establish/maintain high level customer contacts, a proven track track record of sales leadership, budgeting responsibility and strategic sales planning on a national basis.
