Our closely held $100MM+ international material handling equipment / systems client is seeking a North American Vice President to create and execute a plan to grow North America sales.
Will hire, train, and task sales and service staff and design and implement a new compensation and incentive plan.
Will travel 20-50%; more towards 50% the first year. Will become personally involved in all major projects and with all major clients.
Will have full North American P & L and oversee manufacturing, logistics, sales, service, finance, HR, legal, and other departments.
Will establish key performance indicators and hold employees accountable for targeted performance.
Will design and commercialize future product offerings, set and negotiate pricing, target and evaluate future acquisitions, and coordinate North American synergies with international counterparts.
Opportunity to become a stock holder and member of management Board down the road.
Compensation includes salary, bonus up to 30%, auto allowance, expenses, and more.
Must have engineering degree, previous sales management over a sales team of 5 or more, selling a material handling systems / equipment line. Highly prefer candidates with multiple language skills, accustomed to being on industrial construction sites.
Must reside in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
